Here is an update as to what we will be learning in class for the following week.
Language Arts- We began Charlotte's web and soon we will begin making a puppet stage to conduct a show for the Sk's based on the book
Math- Today was our first lesson in Geometry 2-D shapes. This is a short unit and hopefully it will be wrapped up by end of next week.
Science- Began a new unit on Rocks and Minerals.
Social Studies- Learning about Medieval Times
Gym: We will begin Health (healthy eating) this week
Islamic Studies- Students are working on making an informative poster about the 5 Pillars of Islam. InshAllah it will be completed by the end of the week and we will begin learning about Sunnah (praying the Prophet's s.w.s. way).
Homework for Tonight is:
Language Arts: Page 87 in communication skills book + chapter summary of 7-8
Math: Page 182 # A-G & 3-6
