           As you may know the students will be going swimming every second week on tuesday from 2:05pm to 2:35pm. It is my request to you to please come volunteer during this time because we can definately use the extra help. If you are interested please send me an email ASAP as our first lesson is tomorrow.

     We will be starting a project on the different types of habitats and the students will need to buy a bristal board. They roughly cost around .50 cents at dollarama. If they bring them in by Thursday that will be great! JazakAllah-Khairan.

في الايام الماضية انتهينا من : *مراجعة عامة للمهارات الاساسية التي درسها الطالب في السنة السابقة .

*انتهينا من دراسة عدة دروس من المنهج الدراسي لهذا العام ، تعلم التلميذ من خلالها العديد من المهارات و التراكيب اللغوية .... و نحن الان في صدد الانشطة الخاصة بأيام الخير ( أيام الحج ) و العيد .

 

 

 

Assalamu-Alaikum Parents,
              The Grade 4 class is beginning a new unit in Social Studies on the physical regions of Canada. In this unit, the students will learn about the location of each of the 7 physical regions as well as the important characteristics that define each physical region (physical traits, climate, natural resources, and exchanges with other regions). This unit will be integrated very closely with the use of computers; therefore, the students may require assistance at home to complete some of their tasks. I am also asking for parent volunteers to come in and help out during this unit. Whether you have experience with computers or not, we would love to have you helping out in our class, or just coming by to see the great work we are doing. We will be going to the computer lab this Wednesday October 10th from 2:05 pm to 2:45pm and Thursday October 11th from 1:05 pm to 1:45 pm InshAllah.
