Assalam alaikoum wa rahmato Allah,
Grades 6A and 6B invite you to our French Café (called Café de France) on Wednesday May 7 th, 2014 Insha’a Allah.
We will be serving light snacks and drinks that we find, usually, in a French café like: sandwiches, café (coffee), crêpes (French pancakes), gateau (cake) and biscuits (cookies).
Students from grade 6A and 6B will be waiters and servers.
This year students from JK to G5 will perform songs, games, activities and plays in French throughout the day.
Proceeds from the sale will be donated back to the school.
Help us make this event a success.

Speech Competition Update
Assalam Alaikum Parents,
We have started researching for the speech competition and it would be helpful if you can help your child find resources and facts to help them write their speech. I have given students a package where we read how to write a speech and we brainstormed topics as a class. We will use the next couple of days to go to the computer lab and research. I highly suggest that students go to the library (whether it be the school library or public library) to find books on their topic. JazakAllah-Khairan for all your support.
